Superimpose
I haven't had time to blog after working on the superimpose project. Anyway, here's what happened:
Entry 1: I printed my buttons and made them. The TS one came out weird, so I might be able to reprint it and remake the button. I also thought of ideas for my project.
Entry 2: I started the actual editing/superimposing. First I changed the Mama Mia poster to a Speak Now tour poster. Then I put in a Throne of Fire poster, (I was inspired by the King Tut poster right next to it. :)) and changed the color of the eagle on the American eagle poster to blue- well actually, I put a blue eagle over it.
Entry 3: I noticed there were two people pointing cameras at the same spot, so I put Taylor Swift in her met Gala 2011 dress there, like she's a model for a photoshoot. (I couldn't think of anyone else who would have the right pose.) Then I put in an InuYasha poster. (I couldn't think of anything else to put, and the roads are crowded and at an odd angle so there's no room to put in a car.)
Entry 4: I changed the clock on one of the buildings to a cooler clock, replaced one o the lighted poster with a swirly-type picture, and put in a person doing a cartwheel. I should probably put that I've been using the Image>Adjustments>Brightness/Contrast and Image>Adjutments>Hue Saturation to do this. (For blending in the changes. To tilt the posters I've been using Transformations>Skew, and on one occasion, Warp.)
Entry 5: I changed one of the posters to Don't Forget and put in a Ferris Wheel.

New Project
I'm starting the superimpose project today. (The last project we did was the button project, I don't know if we had to blog for that...Sorry. I finished that project, I hope I can print and make the actual buttons next class.) So far I've found my main/background picture- it's a picture of Times Square. I know it's what everyone else is doing, but I couldn't find anything else...

Prom sign
Realized I haven't blogged at all for this project. We're making signs for the junior prom. It has a hawaiian/luau theme. I didn't blog the first day because I was looking for ideas, and then I worked all class after that and had no time to blog. We had four different kinds of signs we could make, and I chose to do a sign for the snack shack. The first class, I traced a hibiscus flower in Illustrator. Then next class, I added more different color flowers. Then the next class I traced a bamboo sign. After that I picked a font and made a background in photoshop, and today I finished and inserted the background and edited the font color. I'll post my sign in a separate post.

Last time I actually finished my calendar. Then the pdf went screwy so I had to redo all my ais. Fun stuff. *sarcasm.* Then it worked. :) So here's a pic of my June calendar:
