I'm actually writing this on the 15th because I didn't have time to do it last class. I made another revision of both of my logos so far. Now I'm starting my 3rd logo.

Today I worked on my second logo. It's more complicated because it's made of solid shapes instead of lines like the other two. We have 6 classes until the project is due and until winter break. :)

Today I finished my first logo, but I might go back and redo it because my changes are all colors. Granted, they're really noticeable, but still. I also started my second logo. Gotta go because the bell just rang.

Today I worked on my spaceship. I'm almost done with it. I have no clue what I'm doing in illustrator. I don't think the instructions explain very well. Just have to do the shadow on the fin.

Today I started the new project. it's a spaceship. We kept talking about Star Wars today :). I also went back to finish the intro to illustrator part 2, so that's one less thing to worry about. I've decided I don't really like illustrator. Or, the instructions on the website aren't clear enough. It's a distinct possibility. I also learned that spaceships are REALLY HARD TO DRAW!!!

Class: November 8th
Today is the last class for the intro to illustrator part 2. I feel like I'm behind everyone else. I still have to do the grouped image, examples of transparent objects, and the button with reflection (whatever that is). Today I just did the gradients and this blog post.

Today I drew the ancient key using compound paths. It was much easier than using the pen to draw the same key. i also made the compound path cheat sheet and made circles and a rectangle with gradients.

Today I learned how to use the brush tool. It seems harder than the pencil but easier than the pen. I drew a pear, a calligraphic A, and a circle made of stars.

Today I fixed up my shapes and drew the puzzle piece. I also posted all the blog entries. Tomorrow i will save this project in the finished projects folder.

I figured out how to use the pen tool! I drew a key, a dog bone, a heart, and an awesome bunny! (no matter what Erica says.) I am so proud of myself now! I also drew a leaf and a clover. All I have left to draw is the puzzle piece.

In Graphic Design we are doing an intro to Adobe Illustrator. We have to draw in pencil and pen. The pencil is easier to use because it's just like regular drawing but on the computer. We had to draw a rectangle, a square, a circle, an oval, a triangle, a pentagon, and left and right hands.
